Excursions to the Red Hill Waste Management Facility are available free of charge to groups and residents in the EMRC Region. Please be advised this is a tour of a landfill facility and includes a 45-minute bus tour around the site followed by the opportunity to visit the education centre to engage in activities aligned with the GREAT sort campaign.
A number of public weekend tours are scheduled throughout the year, held on a Saturday morning for residents within the EMRC Member Council Region. Adults and children (at least 6 years of age) are welcome to attend and registrations via Humanitix are essential as places are limited.
