The Waste Education Centre, nestled within the Red Hill site, serves as a vital hub for schools and community groups to learn about the waste management and the circular economy. This unique facility offers hands-on educational activities that highlight the importance of waste avoidance, reduction, correct source separation and recycling. By directly engaging with the landfill environment on the tour and educational activities at the Centre, visitors will gain a deeper understanding of the impact of waste and the benefits of sustainable practices. The Centre’s mission is to inspire and empower the community to adopt more eco-friendly habits, fostering a culture of environmental stewardship.
